On May 8th, Blue Lake Rancheria (BLR) hosted an Introduction to Pathways to TrustSM training, developed and held by the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy. Pathways to TrustSM is a professional development curriculum designed to prepare individuals and organizations to build effective and respectful partnerships with Tribal nations. This program addresses critical knowledge gaps that often undermine cross-cultural collaboration, and provides a practical framework for supporting more effective collaboration, reducing project risks, and for creating better outcomes for all parties. The curriculum represents a significant investment in relationship-building and cultural bridge-building, positioning participants as more effective partners in Tribal communities while supporting Tribal self-determination and sovereignty goals.
During the training event, participants took a guided tour of BLR’s microgrid systems, hear from a panel of local leaders, and view the BLR Cultural Landscape Assessment. The Pathways to TrustSM training brought together individuals from a wide range of organizations, and Blue Lake Rancheria would like to thank all those who attended, including:
