Zane Middle School Garden Beautification Day

Zane Middle School officially launched their new garden program with a community garden day. The Garden Beautification Day included live music for everyone to enjoy as they gardened, as well as a BBQ lunch for everyone as the day wrapped up. During the event, parents, students, and teachers all worked together to plant flowers & vegetables, weed and mulch garden beds, prune trees, and tidy up the outdoor space.

Blue Lake Rancheria is grateful for the support of Royal Gold and Fox Farm for their generous donation of the soil that is being used for the Zane Middle School Garden Program. All of the other supplies for the garden program were funded through the 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 & 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗡𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗣) grant.
