On Wednesday, June 18th, ๐๐น๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ (๐๐๐ฅ) hosted a course held by ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ (๐๐๐๐ง). The ๐๐๐๐ง responds to requests from individuals, organizations, and other entities following a traumatic event. The requests can include any or all of the following:
- Crisis Assistance and Counseling
- Assessment and Referral Services
- Orientation and Consultation to Management
- Training, Education, and Certification
- Family Resource Management
- Long-Term Trauma Counseling

With their extensive experience in these fields, ๐๐๐๐ง delivered a Traumatology course, which covered how to appropriately respond to somebody who is going through a mental health crisis. This knowledge is something that ๐๐๐ฅ would like to extend to everybody in the community. The courses that ๐๐๐ฅ’s ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ (๐ข๐๐ฆ) provide creates resiliency within our community, building on our vision of preparedness and sustainability. This is part of ๐๐๐ฅ’s ongoing effort to establish networks of support for our neighbors and for our community.
