A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Cal Poly Humboldt’s Rou Dalagurr Food Sovereignty Lab for the 𝗠𝗮𝗶́𝘇 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽! It was an incredible day of learning, sharing, and honoring traditional food practices.
Blue Lake Rancheria values the preservation and sharing of traditional knowledge, especially when it comes to food sovereignty and cultural resilience. Through events like the Maíz Workshop, we support hands-on learning, collaboration, and community engagement to strengthen our connection to the land and to each other.
