Forestry and Sawmill Operations Manager (Limited Term)

Employment Period: July 2025 – September 2026

Location: Blue Lake Rancheria – Blue Lake, CA

Reports to: Tribal Environmental Protection Agency Director

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Forestry and Sawmill Operations Manager for a limited term position to lead the implementation and pilot testing of a portable sawmill, kiln drying system, and associated woodworking operations. This role is central to advancing our forest-based workforce development initiatives and sustainable timber practices. The Manager will also be responsible for developing educational curriculum in forest management, sustainable timber harvesting, and portable sawmill operations, and other duties as assigned.

Indigenous Arts and Cultural Revitalization Coordinator (Limited Term)

Reports to: Tribal Environmental Protection Agency Director

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and culturally grounded Indigenous Arts and Cultural Revitalization Coordinator for a limited term position supporting a multi-faceted initiative focused on sustainable forestry, woodworking, and cultural education. This role will lead efforts to integrate Indigenous knowledge systems, artistic traditions, and cultural teachings into programming related to wood harvesting, carving, and forest-based arts. The Coordinator will collaborate with community members, artists, and educators to strengthen intergenerational knowledge transfer and promote cultural renewal through land-based learning, and other duties as assigned.
