Today, we honor the hands that sustain us and the knowledge that guides them. On National Agriculture Day, we recognize the growers, harvesters, seed keepers, and land stewards who nourish our communities. The volunteers and staff at the Daluviwi Community Garden have been hard at work preparing the garden for the next season, and Blue Lake Rancheria (BLR) grows in anticipation to see the garden shine under the spring weather! Daluviwi provides BLR with the means to deliver fresh, nutritious meals to Tribal elders across the county and to BLR Tribal members and staff throughout every year. The work that our garden staff fulfills is more than just production – it is tradition, resilience, and responsibility carried forward for future generations.
