This past weekend, Blue Lake Rancheria assisted their partner, ๐๐๐บ๐ฏ๐ผ๐น๐ฑ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ง ๐๐ผ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, with Basic CERT training in Southern Humboldt by supporting instructors through our CERT grant funds.
The 23- hour course was well attended and graduated 33 new CERT members for community disaster preparedness in the Southern Humboldt area. Many of the attendees represented rural communities such as Redway, Whitethorn, Briceland, Piercy, Salmon Creek, China Creek, Whale Gulch, and Shelter Cove.
